Today’s little moments become tomorrow’s precious memories
Family, dog and brand Photographer
If you’re looking for a photographer who is dedicated to creating beautiful, timeless images of your family or fine art portraits of your dog, then you’ve come to the right place.
Our children and pets are growing & changing every day, and as a mum of three and crazy dog lady I know how important it is to record these moments. I’ll capture your family’s unique character, your children in moments of joy, cheekiness, playfulness and of course, their natural beauty that you’ll be proud to display on your wall for years to come. I also love creating stunning fine-art portraits of dogs, and I like to think that capturing their soul is my speciality.
Please do pop over to my galleries and take a peep at some of my work. If you love what you see and think I’m the photographer for you, I’d really love to hear from you.
Monty & Bertie
Our dog Beverley doesn’t like having her picture taken. She typically looks away from the camera — usually at the last second! Clare Walpole made Beverley comfortable with the process and the end result are photos that capture the essence of our American Staffordshire Terrier. Clare captured Beverley’s many aspects and moods — from elegant to goofy; from enigmatic to energetic. We wholeheartedly recommend Clare for high-quality professional photos of your dog!– Scott & Samantha Anderson, Brooklyn, NY
If you have a dog who is not very friendly with people but you want great photos then choose Clare! She is a natural, is so calm and lovely too! Highly recommended!

Clare has a natural knack of capturing the dogs at their best. Her patience and ability to adapt to whatever the dogs are into is amazing. She got the best shots of our two mad pups and it was a fun experience having her photograph them. I’ve already recommended her to lots of my friends as the doggy portrait idea is brilliant for gifting ideas around birthdays and Christmas. Sara
I truly had a magical experience having photos taken of Jenavive. The attention to detail showed in the quality of work when I received my photos. Roz
Clare was warm, friendly and extremely professional, from the time she met with us until we received her amazing photos. My dog Maisie totally fell in love with her and Clare truly managed to capture her personality. It was a very relaxed photoshoot and Clare did not try and rush through it, wanting to get as many great shots as she could. I cannot recommend Clare Walpole Photography highly enough! Keirsty
Brooke & Pippin
Clare is super friendly, clearly loves dogs and understands the breeds characteristics. She is incredibly energetic and took amazing photos of my dogs.
For me, Clare really captured the boys nature, Brook ( a 6 year old lab) always looked stately and elegant and Pippin (a 6 month English Springer) looked as mad as a hatter! The photos really reflected what we see in them every day.I can only thank Clare for following her passion, I don’t think anyone could have taken better pictures. Cheryll
Clare was able to capture our boy in his day to day spirit. Her demeanour with Benson has always been very kind, fun and professional. We will one day be forever grateful to have such memories captured so perfectly. Thank you Clare – Andrew
“Clare loved our dog, was super-easy to talk to and just a generally nice lady.
Charlie looks very majestic in most of them (and suitably mental in others)
We had a great time and the photos are brilliant!” Joanne
Clare produced a truly exquisite and moving life-long memory of our beloved black Labrador Tommy who is in the latter stages of his life. My son who considers Tommy to be his brother had very specific requests for this lasting keepsake he will always treasure. Clare showed great sensitivity and patience in making sure the perfect pictures were created. My son now has the two most beautiful images of his beloved dog on his bedroom wall with Tommy sitting in his favourite wood – one in the daylight and one at dusk. The dappled sunlight streaming through the trees warming Tommy’s face is breathtaking. He is there for us to see and remember every day and in our hearts forever. Thank you Clare – Karen
There’s something about black & white photography that never gets old. In a digital age where we can create virtually any images we want with colours that pop beyond belief, we still have an almost romantic longing for black & white photos. Sometimes...
Each month I enter three dog photos into the 'pet' category of the Guild of Photographers Image of the Month competition. When I started entering my photos I did it out of curiosity, but it grew into something way bigger and today I got not 1, not 2 but 3 Silver...
