Booking Your Photo Shoot
Thank you for choosing me for your photo-shoot, I’m really looking forward to meeting you in person.
To help the photo session run as smoothly as possible, please follow the steps below to confirm your date as agreed and take 5 minutes to read through some of the information regarding the day itself.
Once you have completed the booking form, an invoice for the session fee will be emailed to you. The session fee is £75 and this covers the shoot itself, editing of the images and access to the password protected gallery. You can then go on to purchase any of my collections of digital files and prints.
On The Day
HOW LONG DOES THE SESSION LAST?
An average session is around 1-2 hours but can last longer depending on the type of shoot and how the session is going. I’ll never rush you and always allow plenty of time to get the ‘shots’
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE PHOTO SHOOT?
Your images will be uploaded to a password protected gallery within 10 days of the session. You will then have a further 7 days to review the photos and place your order. The gallery can be shared with friends and family should they want to also order copies.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
Light rain, on and off, isn’t an issue, but if it is going to be very wet, or very cold, we will postpone to another date and your session fee will just transfer to then. In the run up to our session I will keep a close eye on the weather forecast and be in touch 2/3 days before if I have any serious concerns.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
I look forward to meeting you and your family and I will be in touch a couple of days ahead of our photo session to confirm where we will meet.
In the meantime, if you have any questions please feel free to ask.
What to Wear
What you wear is actually very important as it ensures your images remain timeless. There are some general rules to help you decide, but if you are unsure feel free to take a photo on your phone to send to me to chat through. Some tips include :
– Keep the basics of your outfits neutral – think cream, white, grey, blue, natural colours. Add pops of colour with accessories including hair bands, cardigans, belts, jewellery, scarves and hats.
– Avoid strong patterns including spots, stripes and logos as they distract from the subject which is you.
– Bring hats, scarves and any props you would like along on the day. Feel free to pack them all in a bag so you can get lots of different images.
